Hope Blooms Planting Day Covered in Rocky Mount Newspaper
To mark HensonFuerst’s third annual community planting day in the Hope Blooms Garden, the Rocky Mount Telegraph ran a story about the cancer fundraising and community awareness initiative on Friday. More than 650 pots of daffodil bulbs were sold by the firm before the planting day at $10 each—more than 2,400 bulbs will be planted by the community Saturday. The garden is located in the Historic Tree Park, a location donated by the city of Rocky Mount three years ago.

Hope Blooms Garden Inaugural Event - Saturday, March 18, 2006

500 Pots of Daffodils Symbolizing a Cancer-Free World will be placed in the Hope Blooms Garden between 1 pm and 3 pm

HensonFuerst, P.A., a North Carolina-based law firm with offices in Raleigh and Rocky Mount, announces the Hope Blooms garden inaugural event will take place Saturday, March 18th from 1 pm - 3 pm. The law firm's staff will be joined by community members to plant more than 500 pots of daffodils. Throughout the month of February HensonFuerst staff members raised $5,000 in conjunction with the American Cancer Society's annual Daffodil Days - a fundraising event held in participating communities across the country - by collecting $10 donations. For every donation, a pot of daffodils will be placed in the Hope Blooms garden in honor of a cancer survivor or in memory of a cancer victim. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.

February Daffodil Sales to Benefit the American Cancer Society

In conjunction with the American Cancer Society's annual Daffodil Days - a fundraising event held in participating communities across the country - the staff of HensonFuerst will collect $10 donations for pots of daffodils throughout the month of February. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society and the pots containing bright yellow buds will be placed in the Hope Blooms garden.
